Angel Ridge Part 2

13/31 of March challenge

July 3rd 2014, 10:00pm
“We’re leaving! Pack up your stuff and we’ll let you know when to take down your tents.” One of the boy counsellors shouted.
“But I thought it wasn’t safe to leave!” exclaimed one of the girls.
“It is now!” Shouted the counsellor.
The girls hurriedly packed up their stuff. And then they had to pack up the tent.  Cold from the rain and nervous from having heard stories about the hike back. They had no time to put the tent in the tent bag. So they had to carry the tent. When they were finally done they waited for word from the counsellors about when they were leaving. And all of the sudden they were moving.

They were hiking. It was so cold, it had started snowing. The cactuses were frosted over. It was pitch black. If you were looking down from the top of the hill, you would think you were looking at the stars, when in reality, it was just the flashlights of the nervous campers, scattered throughout the field. Each one stopping every 5 or so minutes to take a break from the treacherous hike, that none of them had signed up for.
