We've all seen Mardi Gras floats. Probably on Tv but maybe in person. When I was in sixth grade I saw them being made. We went to a warehouse where people have made and kept hundreds of Mardi Gras floats, for years, and years. Where you could see a giant Peter Pan or Nemo. Where these floats were just a few feet in front of you, where you could see people painting and sculpting the ones for next year, just months after the holiday. They start the day after Mardi gras and work all year.
That's so cool! They look very intricate. Was it fun?
